Traditional Okinawan Shorin Ryu Karate Do

Durham, North Carolina

Since 1987

At Carolina Pines Women's Dojo we practice Shorin Ryu Karate, Kobudo (weapons), and Jujutsu as taught by Grandmaster Eizo Shimabukuro. O’Sensei is committed to passing on traditional Okinawan Karate—just as he learned it from his teachers—and we are committed to the same.

We welcome women of all ages (girls over 10), fitness, and experience levels. Mary Margaret Graham, Renshi, holds the rank of 5th degree black belt and teaches directly under Shimabukuro O'Sensei.

At CPWD, you’ll find:

- Karate training develops strength, flexibility, fitness, confidence and perseverance.

- Small classes with lots of individual instruction.

- Low monthly dues with no contracts.

- Karatedo - the way of karate - will help develop your mind, body, and spirit.
